I am Andre Klemarewski - the inventor of DelSonix analog, clip on guitar speaker and President of Applied Composites Technologies Inc. I have a degree in Wood Science have been consulting to some of the largest forest products companies in the world for the past 18 years. One of my clients was Fender Musical Instruments in Corona, California. It was my dream job working for the largest guitar company as wood specialist and being surrounded by guitars and people, who loved music. I qualified for employee discount and could not resist and purchased Fender Telecaster and Jazz Bass fretless guitar. The problem was that practicing unplugged electric guitars in a small, rental apartment wasn't much fun. I bought a small jack, headphone amplifier but the sound quality was poor and I did not like wearing headphones. I decided that there must be a better solution. After my contract with Fender has finished I returned to Canada and started working on a stethoscope type headphones for an electric guitar. I have quickly discovered that one needs very large diameter air tubes to get decent sound quality. But I also discovered that a cone shaped passive speaker can generate sound, when attached to an electric guitar headstock. It took almost two years to optimize the design and we are proud to present to you DelSonix.
The design improvement and product development will continue. So keep in touch for new product releases.
